While perusing my usual line-up of bookmarked art, design, architecture, and fashion blogs, I was delighted to come across an article (on www.selectism.com) about the new Ace Hotel in New York! Designed as a marriage between functionality, simplicity, and “new heritage” design ideals, the Ace Hotel offers both affordability and luxury within its friendly and nostalgia-inducing “old architecture,” iconic and historically New York styled walls. I’m terribly terribly impressed by their unbelievable choice of uniforms for their staff (pictured above).
