So, not that I didn’t like the teen theatrical fad of the year (or next several years) ((Twilight)). I went to see it at the dollar theater to hold up my end of the I’m-in-my-mid-twenties-so-I-promise-to-be-at-least-mildly-socially-and-culturally-aware bargain. I enjoyed it. I wasn’t blown away. I found the main characters disarmingly unattractive, the plot and story line unusually thin and many vampire-lore inaccuracies (when compared to other vampire filmography) confusing. Whatever, shrug, pretty okay movie. But now Thom Yorke and Justin Vernon (Bon Iver) have written new tracks specifically for Twilight Sequel: New Moon ??? Huh? Well. Okay…

In other news, I’m pretty down with this new Jay-Z, Rihanna, Kanye West track Run This Town. RiRi’s a little whiney but since that’s to be expected and she sings a great track anyway, who cares? Also I think the totally Ralph Lauren looking logo for the song is pretty sweet. Give it a listen here.
